Travels with Darley – Season 1
Emmy Award-nominated host, adventurer and travel expert, Darley Newman is known for getting viewers out of their comfort zone on active experiences globally. As the host, creator and producer of “Travels with Darley” and “Equitrekking” on PBS and international networks in over 85 nations, she takes viewers to remote and stunning locations to reveal fascinating global cultures, adventure, cuisine and hidden gems. Having led production teams in over 25 nations and 26 states, Darley's filmmaking adventures include traversing one of the world’s largest salt pans in Africa, free diving in South Korea and exploring the WWI 'red zone’ by mountain bike in northeast France. Her ability to make on camera guests feel at ease has allowed her to interview people of varying cultures and walks of life including HRH Princess Alia in Jordan, Olympian Jonny Moseley and inspiring entrepreneurs across the USA. 10: Northern Wales: Isle of Anglesey & The Coast

13: Hong Kong Island Hopping
Hong Kong is a big city with lots of urban attractions, but with over 260 islands, Hong Kong is also a great destination for island hopping. We’re exploring the greener side of Hong Kong by hiking, biking, boating and taking in beach views with the locals. We’ll visit a doctor who specializes in traditional Chinese medicine, see what Hong Kong locals eat at bustling markets and make a trip to Lantau Island to visit the Big Buddha, Po Lin Monastery and Tai O. We’ll also hike the Hong Kong Trail at Victoria Peak and the Dragon’s Back and learn about geology at the Hong Kong Global Geopark, a UNESCO site. You’ll be surprised by the eco-adventures Darley Newman uncovers in urban Hong Kong.
