Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of good info, VERY corporate oriented Lots of good information on micro expressions and body language. When I selected this to watch I did not realize it was aimed so strongly at the corporate world. I have experience a few too many corporate trainings, so I had to work past that. Also she was working with a live audience during her presentation. I found myself in reality TV mode, bothered by some of the members and liking others, all which distracted somewhat from the presentation. One reviewer found her science dubious, but having some background in psychology much of it was right on, IMHO. Presenter was good. You will learn some things, but just realize that it is aimed at networking, sales and the corporate world.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very helpful! Thank you so much for this course. Could you also create a course on the body language of dating, attraction and also some redflags to avoid? Many many thanks

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Some dubious science, some good features too I take issue with some of the statements claiming the information is grounded in science. That is not true regarding the power stance, nor in the complex mechanics of lie detection. For more specifics on how those topics are addressed directly and the associated research, see: " The Complete Guide to Absolutely Everything: Adventures in Math and Science" by Adam Rutherford and Hannah Fry. That said, there are enough valuable tips and insights into non-verbal behavior that make the overall series of value. So I recommend the series but also be cautious about accepting some of the claims as " scientific."

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I did not like it The lecturer taught me the importance of body language, which I intuitively knew before. However, it did not teach me how to read other people’s body language. I read other books on the subject afterwards, and learned a lot more than what I learned from this lecture.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Missing the DVD for learning spanish I recently purchased several courses. I received the workbook to learn Spanish. I did not receive the learn Spanish DVD. I did receive two learn German workbooks. I sent an email through your website. I have not heard back. Could you please check on this. I have not yet taken any of the courses.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Pseudoscience Psychology - not recommended I feel most of this course is a poor romp through pseudoscience psychology with very little peer reviewed science credibility to what the presenter is saying. The booklet shows a bunch of studies however the course shows lots of poor science. On saying that it is done in an engaging way and I watched it. I cringed quite a lot with the poor pseudoscience psychology though so please be very careful not take most of this course too seriously or it could damage your business image and performance. On the good side the lie detection is done reasonably well so that is worth watching hence I gave it two stars not one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great beginning I have Vanessa's book and this is a great addition to that. Great course to learn the basics of body language and start applying them in everyday situations.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Interesting, but distracting Her information is valuable but her presentation is degraded by a repeated slip of usage that is grating and annoying. Over and over, instead of "I said..." she says "I was like..." This is the most illiterate locution in modern English. Hard to take her seriously.
