Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent for a beginner I have the streaming version. It has a great explanations of tools needed with a list of recommended paints, bushes, and paper provided separately. I haven't finished the course yet...I'm only at the first painting project, a still life. I would highly recommend the video version of this course to any beginning watercolor painter, but perhaps not at the full price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well done! My daughter and I took this class as absolute beginners. We learned a great deal. The teacher is easy to follow and her explanations are clear. Minimal supplies are needed and she shows you how to use what you have to make more colors by creating color charts. I found that part very useful as a beginner. We really saw a difference in our paintings from the first class to the very last class.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful course for a beginner Never having any painting instruction, I was hesitant. A list is given as your recommended minimum supplies, a list of all supplies that could be used in the course and where you can cut some corners. I took it slow, playing a lesson, then repeating it as I attempted. Pleasantly surprised at the detail given of each step. Some of my exercises look like I've been painting for years. Can't wait to learn more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent instruction and demonstration A great review of basics, an excellent demonstration in each lesson along with the specific assignment which I found extremely helpful. Intro courses I've tried before were overwhelming, this course was fun, and built my confidence tremendously. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enjoying Painting with Watercolors course I am new to watercolor painting, well painting in general really. I have doing more with fiber art for a few years but I have wanting to try watercolor painting. Theinstructor's introduction to supplies and techniques was VERY useful. I like her easy, simple progression of the techiniques presented. She has provided important tips and tricks for brushes, mixing paints and repairing mistakes. I wish I was able to post questions as you can in a Zoom, live drawing class I am taking. Overall I would enthusiastically recommend this course to beginners.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing A short series of courses focused more on materials than the doing. Techniques that were presented were well-explained, however. Other Crafts art courses packed much more punch.
