Rated 5 out of 5 by from My work is stressful, this helps I have many issues in my job. There is so much fast change, threat of more change to come, managing angry customers and more. This course has really helpful techniques. I've used a few already! I took lots of notes and plan to keep trying out more of the teachings. Simple and easy to follow. I dont really like the cartoon graphics though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Compared to similar courses, very low level There are two good courses offered on the subject: by Professor Mark W. Muesse, Practicing Mindfulness, and by Dr. Heidi Sormaz, Overthinking. Compared to these courses, this one is of VERY low quality. Teaching Company degraded the quality of courses significantly compared to what it used to be twenty years ago. In my view, 50-60% of material and presentation in this course is on the verge of profanity. The duration of lectures (lectures?) varies a lot. One is about 16 min I think, which is just an advertising. Same few pictures go through all presentations. Flashing light of the sun (through leave canopy) makes pain to eyes, and this same video excerpt is used often. And so on. Teaching Company betrays its customers (and very loyal ones, please note) allowing such courses to appear. I expect, as it previously happened, a favourable counter-balancing review or a comment annihilating my review will follow. Folks, don't be duped, but buy good proven courses on the subject.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I highly recommend this course! Mindfulness for the Workplace is an excellent class, and, as a worksite wellness practitioner, I highly recommend it! Ms. Quan has a way of making mindfulness accessible to all levels of experience – from those who are skeptical of the practice to those who meditate daily. She breaks things down to simple, easy-to-digest concepts; provides evidence-based methods and science to back up the benefits of mindfulness; offers many tools and practices that can be done anywhere and take only a few moments; and makes sure the practice is inclusive, secular, and appropriate for the workplace.
