Rated 5 out of 5 by from John Lewis ~ A Great Man How wonderful it was this evening to be able to share this informative and uplifting video about the life of a truly good man, John Lewis, with my 11 year old grandson. I lived through the turmoil of the 1960s and early 1970s, but from afar, as a privileged white person living in a progressive western state. John Lewis endured all the hatred and violence directed at him as a young person yet maintained a civil and dignified demeanor as he became a man of great importance to the United States. Undoubtedly Rep. Lewis developed his core values from his family and community as he grew up and this, combined with his innate intelligence and perseverance, led him to live a life of excellence that is admired today by all. Thank you for allowing me to share this moving video with an impressionable member of the next generation.
