Rated 4 out of 5 by from How to stay fit as you age Even though I have done some yoga, qigong and taichai over the years this set of exercises held something new for me , e.g., stomach pump. The video itself was flawed and I couldn't move from lesson to lesson without extra work, a real nuisance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fit for the Aged When I first started this series it seemed slow. Maybe I wasn't ready for it. When I came back to it, I paid attention and found it full of realistic and helpful counsel. Dr. Bonura gave me hope and determination to be more mindful about my health. If you feel aging is slowing you down, if you feel discouraged with maintaining a healthy life style, this course will help. It is helping me. I even did all the exercises in the last six sessions. Some of the yoga was impossible for me but the exercises allow for different capacities without judgement and without guilt. Just do what you can while you can. Slow and easy can make a great deal of difference. Listen to what Dr. Bonura says, take a deep breath, relax, and stretch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Healthy Retirement This course has inspired me to get up and move. To live a healthier life. I recently retired from a job that was exciting, but stressful and way more than 40 hours a week. That coupled with an injury from an accident had me sitting on the couch getting heavier, stiffer and feeling older. Dr. Bonura has laid out a course that informs, inspires and give practical foundational practice for fitness and health. I am so glad I ordered this course. I feel better, stronger and younger. Thank you Great Courses and Dr. Bonura.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from How to Stay Fit as You Age I bought this program a long with some others to help me productive during home quarantine due to the Corona Virus outbreak. Normally, I go to Cross Fit three times per week and I follow a healthy diet. However, normal activity is not available right now. I have found this program to be very well organized in terms of topics and strategies. It covers not just physical well being but also mental well being. It also provides additional topics that I had not considered. An example, as we age, we often develop incontinence issues. In this program, this topic and others directly related to this topic are discussed openly. In fact, strategies are provided to help deal with such problems in terms of prevention and / or dealing with them as they arise. The presenter is very knowledgeable and speaks well. The one down point is that the whole program is in a lecture format which can be repetitive. But graphics are added in to help break up the presentation. Each session is not too long and the accompanying booklet makes for a good support document.
