Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hate the potty language and profanity While this course does offer some practical advice that is certainly helpful, it sometimes had re-packaged self-help psychology already out there en masse by motivational speakers everywhere. It's really not that in depth. Mel's language problem with F-words and trashy, unnecessary swear words discredit her professionalism. This is the first course from the Great Courses I've seen where the instructor feels that profanity is necessary--it is not! It's unprofessional and was a distraction. Maybe it doesn't bother some, but as a professional corporate keynote speaker, such verbiage would never be allowed with high-end clientele. I have to chuckle that the criteria for my review here can't have obscenities, yet this instructor was published while using coarse language. Double standard here? Someone was really asleep at the helm with editing.
