Rated 5 out of 5 by from Informative, Illustrative, and Entertaining! I started the first installment and that began my one day seminar since I could not stop watching. What a creative shot in the arm! I cannot wait to get started incorporating what I learned, including using feathers instead of flowers in my Deco vases! The guidelines, branding, and the visual examples provided me with a roadmap through the confusion I was experiencing in deciding how to put together a cohesive plan.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT FOR LEARNING This course, I must say, was a huge disappointment. The course completely lacked academic-level teaching, making it difficult to grasp the fundamentals of design. The lack of examples further compounded the problem, as it left me clueless about how to apply the concepts in real-world situations. Moreover, the course was not practical at all. Instead of providing hands-on projects or exercises that would help develop practical skills, it was more focused on superficial discussions about the authors and their personal lives. It felt like a never-ending dinner table conversation that had little to do with actually learning and applying design principles. To make matters worse, the course failed to cater to ordinary folks who simply wanted to learn and improve their design skills. The content was too convoluted and abstract, making it difficult to connect with and apply in everyday scenarios. It seemed like the course was designed for a select few who were already well-versed in the subject, leaving beginners like me feeling lost and frustrated. All in all, this course turned out to be a complete waste of time and money. It lacked proper teaching methodologies, practical applications, and failed to cater to the needs of ordinary learners. I couldn't even bring myself to complete the course due to the overwhelming dissatisfaction it brought me. Save yourself the trouble and seek out a more comprehensive and practical learning resource.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic course! I loved this course. Jonathan made it so much fun with every single section. Simon added an invaluable touch as well. Both have a great sense of humor, and encourage the decorator to try all kinds of things. I've learned a lot, and I will begin looking at my space again. Thank you for this super great course!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What A Wonderful Course I recently purchased this course to help with set design in a photography studio that we own. There were times that I had to force myself to stop taking classes to get other stuff done. That is how consuming this series was to me. Each class is around 30 minutes but will easily take up about 2 hours of your time if you do it right. I am constantly pausing to take notes as well as do research on things covered in the classes. This is especially true for the Inspirations and Icons section. Overall, this is a brilliant class and I hope there is a follow up course. Can we get a "Varsity Move Design," course from Jonathan next?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good enough Examples given are hideous, but then does not even give a formula to use myself to get my own look. It's about how to achieve the designers own terrible look. I mean how do you talk about the use of blue and orange without mentioning the colour wheel and how they are opposite colours? There is no enlightenment to be found here so I am better off with the youtube channels I follow. I expected more from Wondrium content instead i get less.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So worth of my time! This course was totally worth my valuable time! For me, a person with no experience whatsoever in decorating, this course provided an excellent overall overview of the decorating process. Jonathan and Simon graciously share their vast knowledge of the industry in a fun and interesting way! Can't wait for new releases!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A New View on Decorating I just finished watching and I finally feel like I have a grasp on my own style after 20+ years! This is not a list of rules of decorating, or explanation of color theory or moods, or lighting....this is a way to discover your own unique brand, a way to figure out how to create the home that communicates who you are to the rest of the world. This has helped me more than any other decorating course I've ever taken, and I've taken many. The others gave me a firm understanding of style, color, balance.....this one showed me how to put all those together and make a beautiful space that is uniquely mine. Highly recommend!
